Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WebPager (the "Service"), a Muse connector that lets you search domain availability, purchase domains, and publish websites from inside a Muse chat. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

WebPager acts as a domain reseller and website publisher:

1. Domain search. Check availability and pricing for domain names across supported top-level domains.
2. Domain purchase. Buy available domains through Name.com, Inc., our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, with you as the registered owner.
3. Website publishing. Publish static website files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images) to hosting we operate, with SSL included, on the domain you purchased or connected. If you delete a published site or move it elsewhere, we retain the files for 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Domain management. Renewals, DNS configuration, and transfer support for domains held through us.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Domain registration through Name.com

WebPager is a domain reseller, not an ICANN-accredited registrar. Domains purchased through the Service are registered through Name.com, Inc., an ICANN-accredited registrar that acts as the sponsoring registrar for your domains. You are listed as the registrant on every domain you purchase.

Name.com's Domain Name Registration Agreement applies to every purchase. Before you buy a domain, you will be shown Name.com's Domain Name Registration Agreement (name.com/policies/registration-agreement) and must affirmatively accept it. We record your acceptance — including the agreement version and the date and time of acceptance — and retain that record for seven (7) years.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with Name.com's Domain Name Registration Agreement, Name.com's agreement controls.

4. Pricing and payment

• Domains are billed per registration term. Live registrar pricing — the exact total and renewal price are always shown to you before purchase.
• Publishing and hosting are included free with any domain purchased through the Service.
• Nothing is charged without your explicit approval in chat. Before any purchase, you will see the exact domain, term, first-year price, and renewal price, and you must approve the total.
• Payments are processed by Stripe Link. We never see or store your card details.
• Platform fees. Meta may apply a transaction fee to purchases made through Muse connectors. When Meta publishes its fee schedule, we will disclose any applicable fee here and in chat before you approve a purchase.
• No refunds on completed domain registrations. Domain registrations are final once processed by the registry — registries do not allow returns. If a registration fails, you are not charged, or any charge is refunded. This policy is subject to protections required by applicable law and to any registry grace-period cancellation we are able to honor.

5. Auto-renewal

Domains are set to auto-renew by default so you never lose a domain because a payment failed. The renewal price is always disclosed before your first purchase, we will remind you before each renewal, and you may turn auto-renew off at any time — tell us in the same Muse chat or email webpager@icloud.com, and we will confirm the change by email. If you turn auto-renew off and the domain expires, it may become available for others to register — we are not responsible for domains lost after expiry.

6. Domain ownership and transfer-out

• You own your domains. Every domain purchased through the Service is registered with you as the registrant.
• Transfer away free of charge. You may transfer any domain to another registrar once any applicable transfer lock has expired: request your authorization code and we will provide it promptly. There is no exit fee. Under standard ICANN policy, a domain generally cannot be transferred within 60 days of its initial registration or a prior transfer.
• Accurate contact information. ICANN requires accurate registrant contact details for every domain. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. Providing false WHOIS data can result in suspension or loss of the domain under ICANN policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others.
• Register domains in bad faith, including cybersquatting or trademark abuse (subject to ICANN's UDRP and similar dispute policies).
• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or spam.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate service for violations of this section, for non-payment, or as required by law or ICANN policy. Domains remain your property and can be transferred out even if publishing services are suspended.

8. Copyright and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content published through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated copyright agent at alwaysalwayssmile@me.com. A valid notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), notify the customer who published it, and accept counter-notices under the DMCA's procedures. Customers who repeatedly publish infringing material will have their publishing privileges terminated under our repeat-infringer policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability limits

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of a domain after expiry when auto-renew was disabled.

Domain registrations are subject to the policies of ICANN and the relevant registries, which may change independently of us.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes — including pricing changes — will be announced on our landing page and will never apply retroactively to purchases you already approved.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
